In addition to the appearance of Edge, there are 8 big matches on the card including a Six Man Tag Team Match pitting Florida Heavyweight Champion Justin Angel, Kaval, and Bryan Danielson against WWE Superstars Curt Hawkins, Trent Barreta and Caylen Croft, Also appearing on the action packed card are ‘The Fortunate Sons’ Brett DiBiase and Joe Hennig, 7’2” Jackson Andrews and the hot FCW Divas . With speculation rife regarding the imminent debut of WWE’s new television show ‘WWE-NXT’, all FCW Superstars are sure to be at their best as they attempt to impress top brass in WWE and secure spot on the new show’s roster. And with Edge watching over the evening’s proceedings, the stakes have never been higher.

Edge had the following to say about his appearance at the show: “I am looking forward to meeting the FCW fans in Melbourne this Friday. It is always nice to see how things are developing with the future talent of WWE. In a couple of years, the majority of the Superstars you see on the show this Friday will have been drafted up to Raw or Smackdown, so I suppose it is also a great opportunity for me to get the scoop on who I’m going to be facing down the line. I’ve been told there are a lot of hungry young superstars eager to impress in FCW, so I will be making a few notes on which upcoming stars I need to look out for.”

We go to Brett DiBiase and Joe Hennig with their title belts. Brett says that the word on the street is that Croft and Barreta are going to use their rematch next week. Brett says that they will be the champions after next week. Joe says that they are the future of the WWE.

Barrett and Saxton are at ringside instead of their usual announce position to talk about tonight’s tag title match between the Dudebuster and The Fortunate Sons of Brett DiBiase and Joe Hennig.

Trent Barreta & Caylen Croft w/ Curt Hawkins vs Joe Hennig & Brett DiBiase for the FCW Tag Team Championships
Brett starts off with Croft and they lock up and Croft with an arm drag and then Croft celebrates. They lock up again and DiBiase with a rollup for a near fall. They lock up and DiBiase with a hammer lock but Croft with a reversal. DiBiase with a fireman’s carry into an arm bar. DiBiase works on the arm with a series of knees. DiBiase with a key lock and Croft with a forearm and back elbow. DiBiase with an arm drag into an arm bar.

Hennig tags in and he kicks Croft in the leg before punching him. Croft goes to the floor and Barreta tags in along with Hennig. Hennig with a side head lock take down and Barreta with a head scissors and Hennig escapes. Hennig with another side head lock take down and Barreta tries for a belly-to-back suplex but Hennig counters with a side head lock take down. Hennig with a drop kick for a near fall. Florida Tag Team Title 3 on 2 Handicap Match: Joe Hennig & Brett DiBiase beat “The Dudebusters” Caylen Croft, Trent Beretta, & Curt Hawkins when Hennig pinned Beretta

At last night’s TV Taping, the recently formed tag team of Brett DiBiase and Joe Hennig, dubbed ‘The Fortunate Sons’, captured the FCW tag team titles in only their second outing together against former champions, the trio of The Dudebusters. In an incredible match-up that will been aired on the Brighthouse Sports Channel in the coming weeks, DiBiase and Hennig managed to overcome massive odds to capture the gold and leave the rapturous crowd in the arena ecstatic.

Despite some controversy in the way the match ended, Hennig and DiBiase were understandably over the moon with their historic title win. Afterwards, the duo had these comments for their fans across the state of Florida: “We just want to thank everyone who ever cheered for us and encouraged us. These titles are so important to us and are a great reward for the hard work and dedication we have put in. We are both so happy right now and can’t wait to take these titles on the road across Florida and defend them in front of our fans!” Rest assured that The Fortunate Sons will be heading to a town near you soon as part of FCW’s New Year’s Wrestlelution Tour. The new champions will make their first defense of their championships tomorrow night at the Crystal River Armory as of the FCW Legends Night super show. A Special treat for fans will be a pre-show meet and greet autograph session with WWE Legends “The Million Dollar Man” Ted DiBiase Sr. and Mike “IRS Rotundo along with their FCW sons Brett DiBiase, Bo Rotundo and Duke Rotundo.

Joe Hennig & Brett DiBiase beat Johnny Curtis & Tyler Reks, and “The Dudebusters” Caylen Croft & Trent Beretta (with Curt Hawkins) when DiBiase took Beretta out with the Million Dollar Dream.

- The finale of the main event saw Curt Hawkins, from the outside, push Brett DiBiase off the top rope. Then, suddenly, from the back, the “Million Dollar Man” Ted DiBiase comes from the back to equalize Hawkins’ interference with a series of punches then locks him in the Million Dollar Dream outside the ring as in the ring, Brett locks Trent Beretta with the Million Dollar Dream simultaneously for the win. Needless to say, the packed house at the FCW Arena went absolutely crazy with the Sr DiBiase’s surprise appearance.

Christoph Herzog, Vance Archer & Dylan Klein vs. Justin Angel, Dawson Alexendar & Brett DiBiase
Archer and Alexander trade power moves early. Saxton kept mentioning how Angel was the only member of the FCW roster who hails from South Africa. Rhodes referred to this as a “Michael Cole call.” DiBiase with a fist drop and a series of dropkicks on Klein. DiBiase is pummeled by the heel trio for a while until making the hot tag to Angel. Angel connects with a springboard crossbody, spinning back kick, roaring elbow, and an STO on Herzog for a nearfall. Members of both teams brawl outside the ring. Angel takes Herzog down with a superkick and follows up with his 450 splash for the win.

Winners: Justin Angel & Dawson Alexander & Brett DiBiase in 6:27. Another excellent showing by Angel.

Ted DiBiase Jr. was interview today with Greg Oliver over at Slam! Wrestling. He was asked about what his brothers; Brett & Mike thought about him being a movie star, this is what he had to say.

But even after a long, long round of interviews, he’s still able to laugh. Will his brothers, Brett and Mike, hassle him now that he’s a movie star?

“Actually, I give them flack. ‘What are you guys doing? Huh? Step it up a little bit!’ I’ve got a younger brother, 21 years old [Brett], he’s coming up. I think he’s got a big future. He’s a really talented kid — well, he’s not a little kid anymore, he’s actually probably surpassed me, he’s bigger than me.”

When asked about his older brother, Mike, DiBiase surprisingly reveals that the brothers have not been talking: “I don’t know about [him]. I haven’t heard much from him lately.”
