FCW Tag Team Champions Brett DiBiase & Joe Hennig beat Vance Archer & Alex Riley to retain the titles when DiBiase pinned Archer.

FCW Heavyweight Champion Justin Gabriel and FCW Tag Team Champions Brett DiBiase & Joe Hennig defeated Curt Hawkins, Jackson Andrews and Vance Archer when Gabriel hit the 450 splash on Hawkins. Gabriel attacked Wade Barrett, who was doing commentary, after the match. The two had a pretty nasty brawl all of the way to the back.

Vance Archer & Alex Riley were supposed to challenge Joe Hennig & Brett DiBiase for the FCW Tag Team Championships but Brett had a neck injury and was not cleared to wrestle. Brett said he had a replacement with the same last name, and Legacy’s music hit. Ted DiBiase came out to a massive pop, and he and Joe successfully defended the titles with both men hitting their finishers and pinned the challengers at the same time.

As for the young talent that will be featured on ‘WWE NXT’, PWInsider.com is reporting it will include Daniel Bryan (Bryan Danielson who has worked for various promotions including Ring of Honor), Kaval (formerly known as Low-Ki), Joe Hennig (son of ‘Mr. Perfect’ Curt Hennig), Brett DiBiase (the son of ‘The Million Dollar Man’ Ted DiBiase and brother of current WWE superstar Ted DiBiase, Jr.), Justin Angel, Heath Slater, Michael Tarver, Darren Young and Skip Sheffield.

After a storied career in WWE that has spanned decades, “The Million Dollar Man” Ted DiBiase, becomes the first official inductee named to the WWE Hall of Fame Class of 2010.

Admin’s Note: I know this has nothing to do with Brett, but it does involved his father who now a inductee of the WWE Hall of Fame Class of 2010! Congratulation to Ted Dibiase, he deserved it!

In addition to the appearance of Edge, there are 8 big matches on the card including a Six Man Tag Team Match pitting Florida Heavyweight Champion Justin Angel, Kaval, and Bryan Danielson against WWE Superstars Curt Hawkins, Trent Barreta and Caylen Croft, Also appearing on the action packed card are ‘The Fortunate Sons’ Brett DiBiase and Joe Hennig, 7’2” Jackson Andrews and the hot FCW Divas . With speculation rife regarding the imminent debut of WWE’s new television show ‘WWE-NXT’, all FCW Superstars are sure to be at their best as they attempt to impress top brass in WWE and secure spot on the new show’s roster. And with Edge watching over the evening’s proceedings, the stakes have never been higher.

Edge had the following to say about his appearance at the show: “I am looking forward to meeting the FCW fans in Melbourne this Friday. It is always nice to see how things are developing with the future talent of WWE. In a couple of years, the majority of the Superstars you see on the show this Friday will have been drafted up to Raw or Smackdown, so I suppose it is also a great opportunity for me to get the scoop on who I’m going to be facing down the line. I’ve been told there are a lot of hungry young superstars eager to impress in FCW, so I will be making a few notes on which upcoming stars I need to look out for.”

We go to Brett DiBiase and Joe Hennig with their title belts. Brett says that the word on the street is that Croft and Barreta are going to use their rematch next week. Brett says that they will be the champions after next week. Joe says that they are the future of the WWE.
