I’ve received an unconfirmed report that Brett DiBiase suffered a knee injury in his match against Joe Hennig at Thursday’s Florida Championship Wrestling television tapings in Tampa. I’m told the early diagnosis for the injury is a torn ACL but nothing is confirmed.

I originally ran this last night but sought further confirmation before going forward. I know at the very least he suffered a knee injury but the severity is unknown.

DiBiase is on the short list to be called up to the main WWE roster.

Admin’s Note: This can’t be good Just when Brett was about to be called up to the roster along side with Joe Hennig to be with his brother, this happens. All we can do is prayed for him for a speedy recover and hope he’ll be able to make it through! Get well soon Brett!

May 16th

Matt Martlaro interviews Norman Smiley who states that Joe Hennig & Brett DiBiase met him in his office and they agreed to settle their differences by each giving the other whatever kind of match they want against whatever opponent they want. He stated Hennig chose for DiBiase to be in a handicap match against NXT rookies Michael Tarver & David Otunga. DiBiase chose himself against Hennig in a Lumberjack Match.

Handicap Match – David Otunga & Michael Tarver defeated Brett DiBiase when Tarver pinned DiBiase

May 23rd

Human Cage (Lumberjack) Match – Joe Hennig pinned Brett DiBiase

The finish of the Lumberjack Match saw the ref trying to clear a huge brawl on one side of the ring as Drake Brewer attacked DiBiase from the other side leaving him knocked for Hennig to pin.

There was a live Abraham Washington Show (with Aksana again) featuring former FCW tag champs Joe Hennig & Brett DiBiase. Hennig said he is now focused on the FCW championship and continued to blame DiBiase for their shortcomings as a team. He then attacked DiBiase and the two brawled as DiBiase begged for a match “right now”.

Match 3: Brett DiBiase and Joe Hennig brawled to a double DQ in a match that ended up with a huge, locker room clearing pull-apart.
