Fulltime assistant Michael Pardue and Hunter Evans, Brant Bower, and Brett DiBiase volunteered their time. We wouldn’t have had a great season without them.”

Source: Phil Strum: What’s it like watching your sons now in the business?

Ted DiBiase: I’m very proud. It’s not really well-known right now, but my youngest boy (Brett) has been in developmental for about three years. The reason he was there so long was that he kept getting hurt. Just recently, Brett had his fourth knee surgery. I personally believe that the knees are as an extended result of high school soccer. He had never had a surgery before, but there were times when his knees were bothering him. Soccer’s really hard on the knees. Four knee surgeries and a neck fusion. He kept going. He realized after the neck thing, even though the doctors cleared him and said he’s good to go and it’s safe for him to wrestle, there was a pain element after he would bump for a couple of days that they couldn’t explain, but the doctors said it was common. They said everybody reacts differently. When he realized he couldn’t wrestle without being in pain, well maybe we can go the referee route. Well, then we have a fourth knee surgery. I got to thinking about that and referees are actually up and down even more than wrestlers. Usually when we go down, we’re going down on our back. When they go down, they go down on their knees. Brett will really officially be released at the end of this month. He’s come home now. He’s in great spirits. He’s sad that it hasn’t worked out for him. But on the same token, he was very frustrated and the frustration’s over. We got closure.

It’s a shame that it hasn’t worked out for Brett, especially as he didn’t make it to main roster last year where he was supposed to with Joe Hennig but due to his knee injury, he couldn’t continue. It’s very sad to me that Brett wasn’t able to catch his dreams because of the frustration he was going through with his injury and to be able to do what he loves to do and that’s was wrestling. I wish Brett the best in his future as wrestling is no longer in his future due to his injury but the fansite will continue to support him whatever he may be in his future and we hope that he does very well in the future.

Also, a few days, if you don’t follow the fan site’s twitter or Brett’s Facebook account, Brett recently had a surgery done for his knee. We are not told yet when he’ll be fully back in the ring but we hope he’ll have a speedy recover and returns to the in-ring action soon!

Source: Before the show, Bo Rotundo took pictures with every fan in the middle of the ring. There was a meet-and-greet autograph signing with John Morrison, Brett DiBiase, Calvin Raines, Husky Harris, Derrick Bateman, Ricardo Rodriguez, Titus O’Neil, Andy Leavine, Aksana, and Big E Langston. No Melina tonight as was advertised, but seeing so many others definitely made up for that.

Leavine, DiBiase, Morrison, Rodriguez, and Harris were especially friendly. Leavine didn’t know whether his weekly vignettes on Raw would continue. DiBiase is still dealing with his knee problems and doesn’t know when he will be back. He worked as a referee for a few of the matches tonight.

As you can see as well, I did not add the videos in the video vault because it would be useless for the videos be in the vault as Brett is not shown very much in the matches and it would be a waste of space to have in the vault. Source: Will there be a WWE Championship reign in the DiBiase family future?
As a very proud dad, I would say yes, absolutely. I’m very proud of Ted, he’s following in the footsteps. He’s done tremendously … And his younger brother Brett, from what everybody is saying, they say I have another one right behind Ted. Any good father wants to see his sons supercede him and I look forward to that. And I will be champion I guess vicariously through my kids at least, I hope.

Source: “I’ve had my C5, C6 fused,” said FCW wrestler Brett DiBiase, son of the Million Dollar Man Ted DiBiase. “I’ve had total knee reconstruction, my ACL, PCL, MCL, and LCL in my right knee..I was real close to being paralyzed from the neck down.”

Source: The FCW Gauntlet Five – Bo Rotundo vs Brett DiBiase
Brett comes into the ring and he kicks Bo in the ribs. Brett with a slam followed by elbow drops and Brett hits a series of them over a fifteen second period. Brett kicks Bo in the back and then he chokes Bo on the turnbuckle. Brett with a standing drop kick to Bo. Brett slaps Bo and then he punches Bo, sending him to the mat. Brett yells at Bo as time runs out. DiBiase becomes a lumberjack.

Bo Rotundo vs Lucky Cannon
Lucky acts a little too cocky and that allows Bo to get to his feet and he hits a spear as the bell ring. Brett DiBiase interferes and he gets a spear. Maxine checks on Lucky while Jinder and Bobby stand on the floor and pace in unison. Bo gets to his feet first and he sees Maxine in the ring. Buck Dixon gets in the way and Maxine is able to get out of the ring. Buck makes the first move but Bo hits the final one and he spears Buck.

Damien Sandow, Jinder Mahal, Bobby Dutch, and the rest of the heels attack Bo as the referee calls for the bell.

Winner: Bo Rotundo by disqualification

The faces make their way to the ring and there is pandemonium in the ring while Lucky watches this unfold.

Source: We are back and Maxine is in her office with Brett DiBiase and Lucky Cannon. She tells them that tonight is their night because they will get everything that they ever wanted and dreamt of. Maxine says that she did not forget about Brett. She asks Lucky and Brett if they want to be the new FCW Tag Team Champions. Lucky likes the thought of it. Lucky and Brett leave the office and after Maxine and Aksana talk for a few seconds, AJ enters the office and she is in a good mood.

Lucky Cannon & Brett DiBiase w/ Maxine & Aksana vs Seth Rollins & Richie Steamboat for the FCW Tag Team Titles
DiBiase and Steamboat start things off and Steamboat with a waist lock take down into a front face lock and DiBiase gets to the ropes and Steamboat releases the hold. DiBiase and Cannon hug it out on the apron before Brett returns to the ring to deal with Steamboat. They lock up and Steamboat with an arm drag into an arm bar.

Rollins tags in and he connects with a double sledge from the turnbuckles. Steamboat tags back in and hits a chop from the top turnbuckle. Rollins tags back in and he hits a double stomp to the arm. Rollins with a snap mare and a knee drop to the shoulder. Rollins sends DiBiase into the turnbuckles and follows it with a snap mare and kick to the back for a near fall.

DiBiase with a boot and punch and he is able to tag in Lucky and Cannon kicks Rollins followed by a snap mare and leg drop for a near fall. Cannon with a side head lock take down. Cannon with a few shoulder tackles but Rollins with a drop kick and he teases allowing Cannon going into his corner but then he tags Steamboat back in and Richie with a series of chops to Cannon.

Rollins tags in and he punches Cannon. They hit a double elbow followed by a series of kicks and Rollins gets a near fall. Lucky with a kick to Rollins’ knee and he tags DiBiase back in as we go to commercial.

We are back and Rollins is back in control of the situation and he has DiBiase in a side head lock on the mat. Rollins with a chop followed by an Irish whip or two. DiBiase with a kick but Rollins escapes a neck breaker. Cannon with a knee from the apron but Cannon is knocked off the apron by Rollins.

DiBiase pulls Rollins to the mat by the hair and Brett gets a near fall. Brett kicks Rollins and then he hits a neck breaker for a near fall. DiBiase with a series of elbow drops to Rollins and Brett gets another near fall. Cannon tags in and he kicks Rollins and follows it with a snap mare and then he reminds Seth that he has a banner on the wall.

Cannon throws Rollins to the floor and then Cannon punches Rollins after reminding Seth about his banner. DiBiase stops Steamboat from helping Seth. Cannon rolls Rollins back in but he can only get a near fall. Cannon chokes Seth in the ropes while Steamboat is still down on the floor. Brett punches Rollins and then Cannon catapults Rollins’ throat into the bottom rope.

DiBiase tries to come off the apron to hit Steamboat, but Richie punches DiBiase in the midsection.

Cannon misses a clothesline but Rollins does not miss with an enzuigiri. Rollins reaches for his corner but DiBiase pulls Steamboat off the apron and Cannon kicks Rollins before Steamboat can return to the apron.

Cannon with a hard Irish whip to the sternum and Rollins goes down. Cannon chokes Rollins and tags DiBiase back in. DiBiase punches Rollins and then he puts Rollins in a reverse chin lock. DiBiase gets another near fall on Rollins and DiBiase returns to the reverse chin lock. Brett with a drop kick to Rollins followed by an Irish whip but Rollins with a Flatline into the turnbuckles and Rollins makes the tag.

Steamboat with a springboard cross body to Brett followed by a drop kick to Cannon when he tries to interfere. Steamboat with a belly-to-back suplex to Brett and then he goes up top. Aksana tries to interfere like she did last week as Rollins takes care of Cannon. Aksana is too slow and Steamboat hits a cross body and Cannon breaks up the cover. Rollins with a springboard clothesline to Cannon and then he hits a pescado onto Cannon. Steamboat with a super kick for the three count.

Winners: Seth Rollins and Richie Steamboat
